Post Graduate Diploma in Management

The post graduate diploma in Management is a two year full time residential program with an emphasis on developing the candidates ability to translate theory into practice. It aims at promoting an inquiring & analytical mind, which proactively seeks the right knowledge, acquires the appropriate skills and promotes the right attitude to develop capabilities needed to manage enterprises in the twenty-first century.

Developing skills in leading and teamwork is an important facet of the programme. This anticipates practices in many of today's successful organizations. Pedagogy

Lecture and Syndicates from the core of KBSCMR’s PG program. For any learning process to be successful there should be a blend of the lecture method and experimental learning methods such as case discussion, role play, projects etc with a high level of student’s participation. Besides lectures, cases based on live problems, management games and the project work are important components of the pedagogic method. Also, in some courses, the students are encouraged to play a useful role in course design and development.

Assessments & Grading

KBSCMR’s program is unique and not like other programs offered in India in terms of the examination and assessment patterns. We are firmly rooted in the practice of a continuous assessment system. Thus in each three months trimester we have two examinations, the mid-term and the end term examinations.
The two-year curriculum has been divided into six trimesters with case study based teaching, weekly quizzes, assessments, tutorials and projects to ensure that the students are involved actively in academics throughout the entire course duration. Overall the modes of assessment for each course at KBSCMR include a combination of the following:

Kohinoor Business School
